    I know what you mean.
It is not so much the car looking lowered, it is the sheer height of the 275/60.
When you put such a tall tire on a smaller car with a short wheelbase, it tends to look out of proportion.
I get this feeling sometimes when I see 275/60s on a Mav.
Not all the time, but I see it.
It's tire diameter and wheelbase... not lowered/raised issue.

Now can't we all just get along?

    :rofl2: Dave

Here is some more info for you guys trying to determine what tires sizes will work on your Mav. As someone stated before these cars vary somewhat so this is just an example of what worked on mine. I took the advise from the guy on the board (MAVERICKGRABBER is his screen name) that originally started this Thread. I used Cragar SS 7" on front & 8" on back. These wheels have 4 1/4" Backspace on rear & 4 1/8" on front. Tires are BF Goodrich TA Radials
275 X 50 X 15 on rear & 215 X 60 X 15 on front. The back tires are about 3/4" taller than the front. These tires fit perfectly & don't rub anywhere. I didn't have to use spacers or roll the fender lip either. I understand the fact that everyone likes different styles but this was the look that I was after. I am very satisfied. Here are a few pics.
    Mike:)
