4 or 5 gage dash cluster?

    I would like to see a pod type for the dash. sorta angled back toward the driver. Maybe like the w/shield post type turned sideways, then with a corresonding hole cut into the dash face to recess the whole thing a bit. Right about where the center ac vent is located.

    it would be nice to be able to fit 6 gages in but i can see the space being there. in the long run im thinking im going to replace the ash tray with two gages

    I wish the tach was the big gauge. Click the photo to see them at Summit. They're 5" though.

    How big are our factory ones? 5" sounds about right.

    they are a little biger than 5 inch. right now i have my tach and speedo mounted in the stock holes. i took a plate of alum. attached it to the botom holes that the stock cluster bolt to. located where i wanted the gages then cut the holes for them. once i had them in i discovered that they seemed to point away from the drivers head. so i put a small fold in the center of the plate between the gages and now they both point right at the driver. i have my oil and water where the stereo goes. i have a volt meter with an alt warning light and a fuel level gage in a thing that i made the fills the gap from the shelf to the trans tunnel that has my stereo in it. i would love to get every thing back up on the dash and one or two more gages.

    not yet. ill get some in the next week. the car is geting caged next week so ill get alot of pics of the cage and every other angle and thing about my car then.
