Looks great, this might be a stupid question but is it made from metal or glass?

Looks like he is doing a bang up job on the install.
Looks nice, but I will wait to see it on a car to decide if I like it on a Mav.

I'm with most of you guys. I'm reserving my opinion until I see it on the car.
Obvisously, I'm hoping it's going to look killer (and unique) once it's
    on the Maverick.

I opted to go this route ('68 Hood) for a couple of reasons:

First, I have always loved the look of the wide, dual hood scoops. I also
had a 1972 Hurst Olds that had the dual hood scoops (functional, btw).

Furthermore, in my opinion, it wouldn't hurt to "thicken" the front profile of
the Maverick. Compare the geometry of the car from the windsheild forward
to the rest of the car - it just seems "thin" to me. It seems like it could
benefit from gaining more height, or "mass".

I also intend to add a chin-spoiler to create the appearance of more mass up front.

It could turn out to be a total disaster. Oh well, I still have the cowl hood
that turned out 'pretty good' (it also adds more mass to the front of the car).

Different idea, I have to see it on the car before I decide if it works for me or not. I like it though!!!!

What did he use to bond the glass to the metal?

I have no idea. I'll ask him and get back with you.

924, It shouldn't be long (maybe this weekend). You're welcome to come over anytime.

If you really want mass on the front, mount a chair on the bumper and I'll sit in it.;)
