69 1/2 ? Maverick

    1970 Maverick 2dr. coupe
    My 1970 was made in Kansas City. Denver was the DSO. Does that mean it was sold in Denver? It is a Dark Ivy Green Metallic with black vinyl interior. It has a 200 c.i. 1bbl @120 hp. The gears are 2.83:1
    According to the previous posts, I drop the 2 and make it a one. so I guess it is build # 156,464

    St.Thomas only built Mavericks in 1969-70. Production started 3/3/69 with the first car off the line 3/17/69. But I can't find any dates for the 70-71 change over (yet) Pinto didn't start till 71.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.

    That color was also a Maverick color. My 1970 Grabber was that color.

    That color looks like dark aqua .Gulfstream is more teal green than blue.

    Very hard color to shoot....it never looks right.

    Dark Aqua Metallic. I seem to recall it as the same as Gulfstream Aqua. :huh:

    I had this one...

    It had the dash ignition and rim blow wheel. It also had a Comet bumper so naturally I was compelled to part it out.:p
