Yea i fabbed the panel in the first picture on the brake. Maybe a half hour to bend all of it. The cowl is a reproduction mustang cowl i just got to decide how i want to install it. Its soon on the list. Thanks for the compliment.

Well guys its been awhile but finally got motivated and got some work done. We have decided to do some different stuff on the car. We are now going to do a mustang II front suspension, and custom aprons for the engine bay to finish it off. We finished up the cowls, and started on the roof.

So i have lacked with updating this, but here we go again. We got the roof on, its all plug welded on and have the majority of the seems welded. I cut and fabbed in the rear floor pans out of the mustang one. Here is a few pictures. I am hoping to order a driver side torque box tomorrow, that way i can get the front floor pan in. O will be getting married in September so i am going to try to get this done before then, we will see......

Those Mustang floors look like a perfect fit.

This is great because this is exactly what i am in the process of doing to my Maverick. I have the floor pans and started the removal of the old one's but all this is on hold now to my neck surgery i had this past monday. I'll get back to it as soon as i can. You are doing super work and shows me me i am headed in the right direction with my project! Most people would have trashed these cars but i say build on!!!!!!:thumbs2:

Yea dont be discouraged to do it. Its really not as bad as everyone made it out to be. But now they have reproductions out, so i would suggest ordering them. I have to order the driver side torque box so i can finish the floor pans. And yea the floor pans turned out pretty well and honestly they go in pretty quick. I bet you notice i cut them longer than must people do, cause i wanted a natural transition. Hopefully sometime down the road i can do a write up on them.

I know the floors dont exactly look like Maverick floors but they look alot better than plain flat floors. Are you telling us there are reproduction floor pans or torque boxes? I know about the torque boxes and need to get those ordered. Thats where i plan on cutting mine as well so it makes for a nice transition on the floor!

Well we got some work done. We drilled all the spot welds out of the engine bay aprons. I got a hold of a mustang 2 front suspension, so some time soon that will be installed. Then we will be fabricating custom aprons to help clean up the engine bay. I started to cut in one side of the trunk drops, but did not get to far.

Well we got a little work done today. We started to strip done the mustang 2 front suspension. Eventually we will have to widen it to fit the frame rails. But we got side tracked, you will see in the photos. At this rate were starting to get pretty cozy in the garage.
