wow, it's moving along so fast now! I love the tint in the back. The headliner and visors came out really great.

Looks awesome!! It's a good feeling when you get to start putting parts back on.

My 73 GT has bright trim on the roof rails. I don't know abt 72. Im sure there are plenty folks on here who may know. But, I guess it's a mote point if you like it, wheter it was there or not.

finally got to work on the car again!
still waiting for the correct length pushrods - they're on backorder at summit, so the engine is not finished yet.
also waiting for some screws and bolts from AMK, they're in transit since early february. must be stuck in customs somewhere...

i've sorted out my brake pedal height with the correct pushrod:

dome light is finally working - try to get the bulb over here, that was quite a task!

and i scored a nice NOS mercury script emblem:

i just love that color on that car i have been thinking that might be the color for my comet. if i go that way i want to run white gt stripes down the side and leave my white painted halo top. but i'm torn i do love the yellow that came on the car from the factory. still very nice car.

Awesome work so far. scrolling back through the posts, it's hard to believe that's the same car.

You are doing an incredibly good job on this Thomas. Keep up the great work!!!

I love the color! Reminds me of the song "Midnight Blue", by Lou Gramm....best lead singer of the band Foreigner.

    thanks guys :thumbs2:

here's some more updates. sport mirrors are mounted! pretty hard to mount with only a metric riv nut tool... the workarounds posted on here did not work as good as expected, but i was able to do it in the end.
