My daughter has named this car the Creamsicle, ya know, from the color combo. Lots I still want to do to this car, just a matter of time, money, energy, and all that.

    Things I have done:
    - Small bumper conversion
    - TCP coil over front suspension
    - 4 wheel Wilwood discs
    - 1-1/8 front sway bar
    - frame connectors
    - 18" Foose wheels
    - T-5 from a '98 Mustang w Hurst shifter
    - Hydraulic clutch
    - Unisteer R&P conversion
    - Hooker headers & dual exhaust with magna flow copies
    - 3.55 gears in stock 8" with limited slip diff.
    - $50 Seats from a Mazda CX8 (originals were trashed)

    Things yet to do:
    - improve rear suspension to better match the performance of the TCP front suspension. Any ideas?
    - lower the car.
    - Top end kit & 4 barrel on existing 302. It is a stocker 2 barrel that was rebuilt at some point. Runs pretty well, no smoke, etc, but it runs out of breath pretty quickly. I also have a heavy flywheel from an F150, so that aint helping either.
    - Body and paint. Since I have gone away from stock, am thinking of going with a Brazilian stripe package - that hockey stick looking thing. Any thoughts on this? Also curious what folks think of this stock color combo? It is unusual and I sure don't see many cars running around with this combo.

Anyway, here is where the old gal is today. Thanks!

I vote stock color combo! Have you done a Marti report, see how many built w/ the combo? Looks like U have a pretty nice car to start with.

I 2nd Mojo's vote and suggestion. Sharp looking Maverick. I like what you've done so far and your plans for the future of it.

Like the looks and the way you are going with the build, so much nicer looking with small bumper swap. Time and money are the biggest factors in a build

Got out and dropped the nose down 1" on the old girl. I had extended height upper shock mounts on the TCP coil overs as I was worried about ground clearance. I swapped back to the original height shock eyelets and am going to try them out. I have 3.5" ground clearance to the lowest point of the car - the long tube headers. We'll see how that goes.

Now that the car is sitting flat, I measured the ride height at each corner from the ground to the bottom of the rocker panel. The measurements are: LF: 8.125" RF: 8.25" LR: 9.375" RF: 9.625". What do you all think of these heights? Do you think I should drop the rear down an inch to more closely match the height at the front? Here are some updated pics for reference.

Looks good to me, wud not go any lower unless you don't have many low driveways and/or speed bumps.
