Some guys here don't subscribe to "Big Wheel" cars........and that's fine with me. I bought mine that way.................you did also.............and that's Ok. There are a few people on the site building street/strip cars, but very few building race only cars....so please keep us posted as you go through the build.

Mavericks are very light & have an excellent wheel base, only an inch & a half longer than a fox.Set up properly they will run w/ anything at the track. When I went to fun Ford wknd at Petersburg Va this yr,in the top class on Sat. night a Mav took out a pile of foxes to take home the money.Had a BB in it turning 5.87 in the 1/8 at over 120mph & the car had more in it,GREAT.

wrapping up all the work i have been doing on my house ,

im doing all this in a 1 car garage , it has heat and has nice bright lights but its tight 12x21

took the whole front end out (aje) and cleaned it up and going to put back in , seems they slapped it in there to sell it and was never finished correctly.

Nice start. I am readying my 72 Maverick for the track also. Not going as extreme as what you appear to be. But I have thought about it. Keep the pictures coming

i dont need to sell , just kills me not having the time due to house renno .

I most likely keep and wait until i have more time ...i mean i have a complete bigblock from old car and build glide already so its not like im starting from scratch just ....waiting game for some free time

anyone ever use mustang floor boards ? im thinking to get factory style floor back in this car

i understand i will need to modify it and make a custom tunnel , i have gotten 5-7k in quotes for tin work ...... not really wanting to do that lol

thinking of doing firewall myself , using mustang floor panels on each side modified , with a tunnel kit modded rear would have to be custom with tubs , but should be a lot less $$

not trying to be cheap but i would never have gone this route if i knew tin work was so damn exp $

Aftermarket Mustang floor boards are dirt cheap - you can do a forum search of the subject and you will get the information that you are searching for :thumbs2:

Go to National Parts Depot & get pans for a 1967 Mustang, they work very well, that is what I used in my left front floor board.I believe that pan was less than 50 bucks, but I think both sides front to back only run about $200.
