    I have seen them go as high as $100.

    I bought them from a local junkyard 26 years ago for $3.00 ..........the guy said they were Just Bobcat lights..

    Got myself a good front crossmember....it came off a clean 76 in the local parts yard......the car went right to the crusher after this piece was cut off....the back half was smashed up pretty bad.....this was a great score ... have gotten lucky on finding frame parts lately...

    Side project # 3.........as a stupid youth I cut the support webbing out of a perfectly good grabber hood........ little did I know it would come to bite in the butt 23 years later...........:cry:

    got the old stuff removed...........rusty......rusty.....:rofl2:

    got some new webbing off a donor hood................I am going to trim to fit after a ton of rust removal...................:clap:

    Nope..it wont take that long.....I hope to have it road worthy by june of 2013.....way ahead of my original schedule......all the projects on the board keep me going.......this car has become my Eleanor..........:D:D

    The way that hood was getting crusty inside the supports, over the long haul, you might have just done it a big favor.

    that's why i steam clean in there and then pour a can of...Rust bulit...in the seam and roll the hood around to get it in all the cracks...:yup:
    with all that rust, that looks like it will be a boy dog to weld back up...:yup:

    Ran into some more fun while sanding the rust off.........in the middle of the front facet of the hood its almost rusted thru and its got a cute hole also....:mad: so here's the plan....I am going to attach the inner webbing to the good metal then cut and patch after.....:cry:
