K well I'll wait to see if they look good on your car and if they do I'll get some but anytime I put my car up on here I'll just blur them out so no one will know

If you're talking about not copying my wheels and tires, don't sweat it, we'll never meet up face to face.(as far as the cars that is, I did meet a guy working on a driling rig this week down here that was from Alberta) ;) :biglaugh:No one in Alberta will be the wiser.

Hey, I just tried 235/45r17 on mine today, and they worked fine, except I got a slight rub on the front left tire on a hard left turn, but only because my valence is bent and it just barely caught the tread. I borrowed Fan2488s rims for an hour just to test try them out.

What size are the rims and tyres in the pics? I was going to go old skool with 15" but these just look stunning!!!

I know this is a bit old, but since it was brought back up.. When I first bought new tires for my 77, they were on Magnum 500 14x7" rims with 4 1/4" backspacing. The rears were 235/60's, and just for fun I bolted one on the front to see how it looked. It looked great, but rubbed the frame rail with the wheel turned all the way. I don't think the 1/4" less backspacing would make up for the 1" larger diameter. With a 225/60 you might not rub, but I don't ever want my tires rubbing the frame rail. :)
