This first first post is just a quick overview on what ive done

The car was bone stock when i started on it... First thing i did was do the 5 lug conversion with disk brakes up front... next i changed the 200 6cyl which was completely locked up for a 250 i got out of a parts car just to get the car rolling... spun a rod bear in that and decided to go ahead and start on my v8 swap... First plan was to put a 76 block 302 with e7s and a comp cams 270h and a single plane intake and a c4... then... i changed my mind after i got that setup halfway done and decided to put a t5 in it which made my project even more drawn out... then my ADD kicked in again and i decided an efi 5.0 and t5 was the way to go... got one efi engine in and was putting the accessories on it when i broke a bolt in the block and was unable to get it back out... which meant putting another engine in (since it was easier than dealing with the other block.... final set up was a efi 302 with a mild cam, cobra intake, 65mm tb, 70 mm cobra maf, 24# injectors, ram hdx clutch, hydraulic actuated t5... drove the car for a little while with a 8 inch with 2.79 open rear gear... then changed to a 8.8 3.27 posi and disk brakes from a 94 gt... topped it off with bullitt wheels and 275 rear tires and 255 fronts and that is where im at right now

hope everyone enjoys... plans are some kind of forced induction in the near future and lots of body work... will keep up dating

I like those Bullitt better than those other Mustang wheels. Fill us in a bit about the gauges. I'm always amazed by you guys down south working outside. :thumbs2:

:biglaugh:dont let the single post fool you... ive been working on this car since 2005... only had it on the road for the past couple months... things have sped up here recently though... thanks though... im really happy with how the cars coming out

all i did was cut the faces of a 140mph fox speedo and tach to fit in the mav cluster and trimmed the cluster of the mav on the left side to make room for the tach... it actually went together pretty easily

Thanks... it took a while to do and a lot of wire nightmares but definitely worth it.... im no good at getting carbs to act right so this is easier for me :thumbs2:

Yeah the gauges look great. :thumbs2: I have a question about the 8.8 rear though. What did you get it out of and how long was it compared to the stock maverick rear? I have often thought about doing this exact same swap but every time I asked questions about it I heard crickets.

It's out of a 94 gt with disk brakes... You will have to go with late model wheels because the Mav rear is around 56.5 and the mustang is around 61... I did have to roll my fender lips slightly but I'm running a 275 rear tire.... With a 245 you would be ok I think
