    THE FORD GRANADA AND MERCURY MONARCH ARE THE SAME SIZE AS A LINCOLN VERSALLIES AND A WHOLE LOT CHEAPER.

    Well, it's not like going to Wal-mart and picking upa rearend. :D

    I have never seen a Granada or a Monarch with a 9", I know they were made but they are pretty rare. I found a Versailles first, and it already has rear disc brakes.

    Besides there are no set prices for used parts, I doubt I could have gotten a M/G 9" for 'a whole lot cheaper'.

    And please DONT POST IN ALL CAPS is is hard to read and considered yelling.

    Cal Trac's

    Mavman can tell you about fabricating lower plates, fairly easy to do and he has also made his own cal tracs. Been running them for a couple of years and work much better than the slap bars. Slappers will do for medium HP cars but they must also be set up right with different length snubbers and sometimes tapered shims. To just bolt them on and go just is not using them to the optimun performance.
