My after market a/c went out. Any a/c adapting from other cars? I want something that really cools.

You might want to consult the folks at Vintage or Classic Auto Air for help/suggestions on your issue. I have had gud luck w/ the folks at Classic on my conversion upgrading my OE -AC to modern 134A system; everything replaced/converted except evaporator. It gets plenty cold.

Excepting for maybe a total frame up custom build, the chances anyone would try to adapt factory air from a different vehicle is just about zero & none... I'm not saying it could not be done, but fitting something into the limited space of a Maverick/Comet would require serious fabrication...

If you find something that works let us know, I shiver(and not from cold) just thinking about trying to get the factory air operating on my Comet...

Cometized "Skip" a forum member converted his cars to aftermarket systems; I believe he's using Vintage Air setups. Those guy's have some serious fabrication skills. Providing you have some serious skills -- it can be done. I don't know if ur looking to go that route. I am assuming you have under-dash setup? You might want give a little more detail on what you have and where U looking to go?
