    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    My 1972 Grabber will have Maverick Comfort Weave bucket seats in it from a 1971 Maverick. It has center releases.

    :yippee: I changed the engine oil in the Maverick....It was saturated with gasoline. When I got the car,The choke was set way too rich and idle was very high. I adjusted the choke and lowered the idle in hopes to have fixed the internal gas leak. I know there is the possibilty that it can be the fuel pump. I'm hoping to kill three birds with one stone(so to speak). My question is this.....The attached pic is my carb and I've adjusted the electric choke. What are these ports(center of pic...middle hose) that are by-passed? Could that be my internal gas leak?
