Hey Rick, me and you can swap engines for the weekend. I promise I'll take good care of it. :evilsmile
well...well...well, the bride and i are on the way to Ricks. i am going to help him tune up that 6cyl. so "we" can win. ..r.f.f.
Rick, since Frank and Effie are coming your way, I'll go ahead and declare you the loser and can just keep Frank now. At FFW in April, we'll race for a funnel cake.
AHAHAHAHA thats what he thinks...tomorrow is sanding and buffing day...sure will be nice to have an extra set of hands hmmmm....for funnel cake, we're talking serious business now, I may have to add a shot of the juice...hehehehe. Thx for all the compliments yall, I learned the sanding and buffing technique tonight,,,it's really amazing what this does for the finish, yea it's tedious and a pain in the a** but boy is it worth it
Does Frank do ANYTHING besides eat and Talk? Actually we had a good visit, there's a booth at the IHOP that has permanent impressions of our rear ends in it now We got as far as going to look at the drag car...Effie has this look on her face like my wife had the first time she saw it, like..." Where's the rest of it?" All in all a good visit I finished wet sanding yesterday and I'm gonna buff it out today
That pretty much sums it up. I would add that he does both very well and he does the eating part very cheaply. I watched a body guy put a buffer and some compound on Earl's car yesterday, followed by a coat of finish. Earl's 4 1/2 year old paint job looks new. Very little oxidation came off the paint, but boy howdy, did that paint shine.
Terry; thanks, it does look good. I got the bumper back on it, and the area around the trunk painted and finished off. Tomorrow night, I'll put the trunk seal on it, and be done. Turned out pretty good. Later, Earl
