Oh, OUCH! And that car was really beautiful! Looks like Mable is a LOTTA hurt right now. That really bites.
Mine is called "The Heartbreaker". I named it that, because of Chevy's old motto: "The Heartbeat of America"....
My 4dr Comet is named Simon, it came with that name and I figured it was like a boat, you can't change it. Once that one was named, it was easier to go ahead and name the other 7 so we could stop calling them the blue one that used to be red and yellow one that used to be blue, etc. So Felix is the yellow one with orange/red stripes, Clifford is the red blazer stripe interior one, No. 9 is my chassis car (that has the vin of 1000009), etc.
Mine was named by my wife. "That Damned Car" Looking at getting "THTDMCAR" Liscence plate at the Mall since we don't need front plates here in Ar
My 70 is the only one with a name. the grandaughters call it Jack since it is orange and reminds them of a Jack-O-Lantern.
It gets real confusing around here now that I have two 77' Mavericks and they are both red. My 302 powered Maverick has always been called Red. The other Maverick is red with a white top and moldings, so we call it the Red & White Maverick. My neighbor calls it the Coke a Cola car. The Stallion we once owned was called Ugly. If you had seen it when we first bought it you'd know why we named it that. Our Chevy work truck has a lot of different names......none of which are fit to print.
I call mine PHOENIX, one because PHX, AZ is my home, and two because once I am done the car will have risen from its own ashes(rust)!!!!!
Right now I don't have a name for the new Mav, tho am considering holding a "name my car" contest among my friends.
A family member named mine. He calls it March, because March comes befoe April. April is my wife's name. He thinks that's funny, she doesn't.
