    Hi Guys,

Can someone refresh my memory on the underdash AC/Heater Box? I'm toying with the idea of removing mine, and it's been many many moons since I've taken one out. I seem to remember 5 studs that went through the firewall that I had to remove the nuts on, but I can't remember for sure. This is on a 71. Does that sound about right? Anyone know the locations of the studs. I took a quick glance under the hood this morning before I left for work, and saw 2 of them up top...are the others even remotely accessible?

    Any assistance appreciated!

    Thank you

There are (5) nuts under the hood. (4) around where the AC lines come out, and then one behind the motor up high. There is also a bolt near the cowl vent on the passenger side inside the car.
