So my Vacuum switch for the AC is leaking, i get a hissing sound from under the O ring. My question is, can i take it apart? and if so does anyone know the proper way of doing it? I'm afraid i'll break it, and since i couldn't find a replacement online, it's quite scary to work on :p
I've included some pictures, hopefully it helps.
The leak is between the rubber O ring and the yellowing plastic, i lifted it slightly so you can see the gap better(As seen on the ACSwitch3.jpg).
Hopefully someone has a solution for me :D

No way to fix it. You must find another one. I have read you can get the earlier metal switch and just flip the hoses around.

Gotta use the early micro switch to go with the early metal switch/valve...other than that you heard right.

Wow thanks a lot guys! really helped me out! Seems simple enough to do, It'd be a shame not to use the original system while it's in good condition, only because of a switch :)
    Damn those plastic parts...

The metal ones can leak too.

Surely, mother nature does make it's way eventually.
Yet metal parts seem to last longer, all my vacuum connection ports have been broken....Doubt that'd happen with a metal part :\

WD-40 fixes everything, usually vacuum leaks.

I know you can use WD40 to locate leaks actually, something my dad showed me. Not quite sure if it'll hold up to the leak, maybe it's worth a shot though. Would prefer a permanant fix though.

My father is from the soviet era, quite a brilliant guy who can figure out a way to repair almost anything in some form of way. He thought of a way to fix a spring to the switch assembly so it'll keep preasure on the seal. If it'll work I'll post pictures, so maybe someone with the same problem in the future will stumble on to them :)

Saving money and repairing what's broken is in his headset

You haven't heard? Nothing is permanent. ;)

WD-40 can't fix warped plastic but in a metal selector will help leaking seals. Replacement "O" rings lubed with silicon grease would be a better fix.
