How about a movie deal with $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ waved in your face. See, you cant make a definate stastement around here. :evilsmile
Hmmmm....the prospect of a Maverick being my daughter's first car convinced me to leave those extra inches on the '77.
Dan; if you just have to have a black top on there, paint it on! At least it won't rust and look like crap in afew years....and it is a lot easier to repair if it does. Just my $.02!
Haven't asked Colton yet .... I'm not worried about the vinyl ... it's garage kept and not driven in the rain ....
Thank you Dan. Guys keep trying to tell me I can make mine look good with the big bumpers but when it comes time they are going bye bye. I'm kinda neutral on the vinal top. I think it would look good with or without it.
Here is Mark's car ... that top looks great .... Mark .. where did you get the replacement top or did you have an upholstery shop do it? Dan
Thanks! (at least somebody besides me likes it! hehehe) I was not able to find a replacement vinyl top anywhere, so I took it to a local shop and they were able to order the correct material and duplicate the look of the original top. I also had them install the replacement headliner I had, since I already had the glass out and both the top and the headliner had to be stretched through the window channel.
