Not upset at all..And on the street racing thing i know its not everyones cup of tea but its what we love and we do it the safest way possibly. Here's a video of 1 of our yearly events this 1 wasnt anywhere near as big as the last 1s but alot of the fast cars were broken or getting updated. My cars in it at about 15:00 in,i pretty much killed my trans the night before but had a race locked in and wasnt about to punk out.You can hear how bad the trans is during my pass. Also on the saftey thing,my car has a 6-point MS rollbar In date 6 point harness and a safecraft onboard fire system, and all the fast cars that are in the main race all have full cages and alot of the guys who couldnt make it have SFI chassis. That was pretty cool. I haven't steet raced for over 40 years, and that was one of the best organized street races I've ever seen..........at least you are only doing 1/8th mile................a lot safer than 1/4 mile.
yes we only 1/8th mile here for saftey, because out fast cars run in the 7's at over 170mph.My bestfriends dad just got his car done and he races with us,his 3rd pass in his car on 1 kit went 8.20@170,If ya wanna see more just look up cash days on youtube its the countrys largest street race between the fastest cars around and have had cars from all over come to race.
Not being argumentative, but are you sure about the MP you guys are running is correct? My Maverick does a 6.17sec @110mph at the 660' in a 1/4.
Most of our fast cars run from 5.0 to 4.5 in the 1/8th,that 8.20 pass was a 1/4 with a glide-33" tire and a 3:89 gear went 5.2X on that pass at 135
