the cylinder heads I am going to discus came out about a month ago !!!!! eldelbrock and trickflow has come up with "fast as cast" heads !!!!! stock location intake and exhaust ports...what this is, you no longer have to spend big bucks on FULL CNC porting alum. heads !!!!! OOTB power !!!! the "FAC" 190cc twisted wedge will flow like a canfield 210cc head !!!! the same thing with the eldelbrocks... there are saying that with a pocket blend they will flow more !!!! the best thing is that you dont have to go hunting around for headers or intakes because it is stock location intake and exhaust !!!! I have 4 complete motors(c8oe,d0oe,f1oe,f2oe) and I purchased an all forged 347 short block... TFS 51400015 "FAC" 190cc are on the way from Jay Allen with some extra goodies !!!!!

Well it all started when Shawn Simpson said "What are you going to do for next year?" and that got the wheels turning :hmmm:....I bought a NOS set of Hooker side pipes, then I thought it would be cool to put green neon under them to make them glow....and then I thought I'd hook up some flame throwers...and I better have the HP to back all this up. :D

summit has them!!! main reason I went with jay allen is because he is a canfield/tfs dealer and for a little more he is going to put ferrea 1000 valves, and matching solid roller springs for a custom cam he has designed for me...plus other related stuff pertaining to the valve train...

I have TrickFlow Twisted Wedge heads on mine. They were already on my engine when I bought it. I think they are awesome but I've never had a set of aluminum heads before so I have nothing to compare them to. I've always ran ported 351w's in the past. All I can tell you is I ran a 6.97 1/8th mile with my 347, toploader, and drag radials. You can check the other cars in the timeslips database that are before and after me and get an idea of what my car may do in the qtr mile. Some may not be but I have been impressed with this little street car.

My vote is for the AFR 165's. My cousin has a set on his 289, seriously, day and night difference.

Nasty little car, about 320 to the ground with a 270H. A good 75hp more than he had with stock heads. When I *finally* get to fix my car, thats what I'm running.

I think we have the article mentioned above, the AFR heads flow more than every head in the article except for the Canefields, and they only outflow the AFR at one lift range. I don't have the article in front of me, but the AFR outflow larger volume, larger valve heads. Good torque and HP.
