I got a crappy $5.99 ampmeter gauge from harbor freight. I will not install it in my car. Rather I want to use it as a tool to measure from time to time. Does one wire go to the pos battery terminal and one to the main positive in the back of the alternator. Let me know where it hooks up? Thanks
