Was looking through a parts box for some wiper blades and came across these. Picked them up some 25 years ago or so. Forgot I had them.

Anybody remember this style with the aerodynamic blade? I'm thinking a little cleaning up and some new refills and they would look pretty retro on the old '72 ……..

I had a set on my Cobra Jet, at least till I made post about Wally World selling retro style blades.

I have a pair of them also. I seen them 2 or 3 times in the junkyard on early '70 Mavericks only. Never seen them on late '70-up Mavericks

With the airfoils improved height.. those look like they'd actually work compared to the lower profile plastic ones made today which have never worked for me.. not even once. And the rubber sleeved ice resistant ones are horrible for wind buffeting. Obviously they never tested these designs for high speed interstate "no cops in sight" cruising speeds. lol

Anyone have an extra set to sell.. or know where I can score a decent set?

I was poking around on ebay. Looks like they are called "Anco Anti Wind-Lift" Red Dot Wiper Blades.

There are some on ebay but the 16" NOS set this picture is from is $60 - and the box is NOT included …….. :90:
And that is just the blades, no arms.

I know I have removed some from parts cars over the years.
