And, Jamie, it is pronounced "Kerkindawl" (Kuykendahl). Go figure?

Houston has some really wierd names. Of course, I used to live in Seattle, and towns were named such as Puyallup (pronounced Pyurallup, sometimes Poolyallapoop! in car ads)

That was per weather.com[/quote]Well, that forecast was from two days ago. Today's forecast (for tomorrow) calls for a HIGH of 39 degrees and rain! We've postponed (okay, I wimped out) on our get get together for now.

Ed, we'll get together when the weather's nice - or at least above 50 with no rain.

Well, I feel better (in a way). I figured during yesterday's drizzle that there wouldn't be many participants.

I also got to thinking how many times I've seen the same ol' junk at different swap meets. The term "Swap Meet" ain't what it used to be. Now, it's like getting to a Garage Sale right before they trash the items no one bought.

I stayed in and watched the Busch race and took me an "Old Man" nap. ZZZzzzz.....

    Pretty lazy day around here.

    We'll get together soon.
