This concerns my 1972 Comet. One day my turn signals stopped working. Fuse checked out as did the flasher relays. Hope this doesn't give anyone a headache like the one it is giving me.
    This is what happens with:

Emergency lights on and parking light switch ON
    1. All front and rear facing lamps flash
    2. Right front side marker lamp flashes.
    3. The other three side lamps are on but barely flash

Emergency lights on and parking light switch OFF
    1. Front facing lamps flash.
    2. Rear facing lams. Left lamp flashes but right lamp is off.
    3. Right side lamp flashes but other three are OFF

Emergency light switch turned OFF Parking light switch turned ON
1 All front and rear facing lamps are on.
    2. Right front side lamp is OFF.
    3. The other three side lamps are ON

Parking light switch turned ON with turn signal either on LEFT or RIGHT position.
1.Right front side lamp is OFF
    2. All other lamps are ON but do not flash
    3. The dash turn signal lights remain OFF

Parking light switch turned OFF with turn signal either on LEFT or RIGHT position.
    1. Nothing on and nothing flashes.
    2. The dash turn signal lights remain OFF

Anyone have any ideas? All of the bulbs are good because in one or another of the combinations above every bulb came on.

Bad turn signal switch will also cause goofy problems like you describe.

Trouble shooting begins with how each function operates separately, multiple modes confuses the trouble shooting...

As others said, this one is probably a ground problem...
