Antenna any ideas out there??

    I have been thinking about going with a power antenna myself, I had forgot about Craig's article. I have to bend mine down a bit when I put the car cover on, would be nice to have it lay flat like it should. May look into one soon.....

    All this talk about antennas, and welding up holes makes me glad my car was born without a radio.

    Get a quality power antenna - you don't want to take that fender off a few times.

    I bought from JC Whitney back in the day and after two going out I gave up.

    Take the fender off? Mine just went in through the wheel well cover.

    I did mine in 1993 - the motor was too big - we just took the fender off.

    Maybe they are smaller now or I just got a really cheap part. :huh:

    LOL, you must have one of those models with the squirrel cage and they run around to move the antenna up and down.
