anti seize

    I have about a third of a can and it has dried out. any suggestions what can be added to it to make it useable?

    ...and how old is that bottle of anti seize? Maybe adding a little more new anti seize will soften it up enough to reuse :huh:

    Buy a new bottle -- ain't that expensive. Must have left it open - I have a bottle almost 5 yrs old, can't tell any difference than the day I bought it. I do have a problem when I buy Liquid Tape, it has short shelf live.

    maybe 12-15 years old. I think maybe not keeping it mixed up before using may have used up the thinning agent in the top of bottle. I still use it but it's a thicker paste.

    Prolly anything petroleum based. I'd try mineral spirits or something else not so volatile it'll evaporate right off...
