Cheers man. He won't sell the parts I would pay 500 for the doors, boot, rear bumper, steering wheel and indicator switch and ash tray in dash if anyone wants the rest of the car for stripping it for me

If that car is in better shape than yours....buy it and use you other car for parts to fix this one.

You're always better off with a parts car than just a few pieces...

No brainer to me. Get it, strip it, sell the scrap.

You may think those are the only parts you need. Once you get into one of these cars, you will notice all kinds of little things you wish you had. Mavericks are getting hard to find. I have learned to jump on a deal when you can find them.

    Good luck,
    Micah

I just looked at the pictures again. That thing still has the original gas cap, bucket seats, looks like an AC dash which means an AC box, I think I see a Sport Lamp switch, I bet it has the LDO light package, headers, MSD, a washer tank, power steering, rebuilt trans, a good fender, good quarter panels, good rear bumper, maybe a good grill with lights, new starter, side trim, hub caps, tires, side marker lights, over riders and a good back window.

All this for $500. What a bargian.

I dont know why you are not over there right now with a tow truck.

Yesterday on Craigslist there were about 6 4 doors in the LA area. I would look on Ebay too.

Hey guys I'm just after parts. Shipping to get whole car to me is $4200 to new Zealand oposed to under $400 for doors. Wanting something in LA just because there is a port and company that goes to new Zealand regularly.

    Thanks for your help!

Wow.....you need way more than doors. That rear quarter is going to have to be replaced as well.

As I said in your other thread.....get another car. $4200 to get a California car to your door....way cheaper than fixing what you have.

    Fix THIS not THAT: http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=86787&highlight=fix

Whew, reminds me of my GT parts car, but is even rusty above the door handles...

I have to agree with Craig, unless you have mad fabbing skills, find another car...

Your should have let us know about your location. I was thinking, WTF is the deal with this guy? Now it makes sense.

As the others have said, get another car. Unless you have a burning desire for a four door, I would spend the money on a solid two door.
