The Power Tour and the Silver State Classic are on my all time to do list.

Yep but I'll still do it some day.

Me and a couple buddies are planning on it but i wont be in the Maverick. I will be taking my Charger R/T and buddies will be in a 2012 Camaro SS and the other in a Z06 Corvette. Im planning on doing the whole thing from MI all the way down.

I am seriously considering doing the first three days Detroit, Muskegon and Champaign IL. My brother is doing the entire tour in a 67 Falcon he is working on and another friend is going to do it in a 69 Rambler Station Wagon he just picked up.

I just have to clear the vacation days I will need to take and make the decision to do it. I would do the whole thing but the wife wouldn't be too happy. You know the saying Happy Wife Happy Life.

Hi all, it has been quite a while since I logged in here. I just found this thread and we are participating on the Power Tour again and will long haul. Wife and I have been doing this trip since '05 and long hauling since '08. This trip is the most fun I have ever had with cars. think rolling car show for 7 days, every stop turns into a car show no matter where you are, gas stop, lunch stop, motels....I have an orange Maverick with a shaker scoop, I have a thread from last years trip with a couple of pictures of the car in there. I am usually found at the Tremec transmission display as they like to have my car on display with the TKO 600 in it. I look forward to seeing other Mavericks on the trip; I have met up with Chip at different stops on past Power tours. Chip I hope all is well with you and look forward to seeing you again sometime!

Mick did you ever go on the Power Tour this year? I don't know if we ever met BUT is your brother named Dan?? If so he and I talked numerous times on the trip and if I remember correctly you were the comet that took a test drvie with no windshield once the paint was finished. Do I have the correct people?

Yeah Dan's my brother. He's the mastermind/magician behind all of the work on my Comet. Didn't make it this year to go on the tour with him but it's definitely on my bucket list.

Definitely make plans to do the trip and you will be hooked after the first one. I met Dan last year in Muskegon when he had the Mustang and ran into him numerous times this year. The last time we chatted my wife was showing him how we pack the Maverick for 10 days on the road LOL. Check your PM
