Grundy has no mileage restriction, but you must have a garage to park it in.
They quoted me 158.00/year at $10,000.00

I got mine at insurance broker www.insurancepaylite.com by using their quote system which is free, anyway i got to compare rates and policies from other insurance companies where they can surely help you decide which insurance company is best for your insurance needs.

You think you guys got it bad, try being in my shoes! 18, male, had one partially at fault wreck, living in a high traffic and very accident prone area. Ouch! Driving these old azz cars with liability coverage only is about my only saving grace. :90:

    Hi Jamie Miles,

You know younger people just like you have a high rate insurance. Insurance agents say that young divers are aggressive and inexperienced. AT your age I also had the same problems with insurance. Even if I already work. In most states, car insurance is required in order to drive legally. It helps to protect the people and things that are important to you as the driver. Without it, a person could be sued for thousands of dollars for damages or even have to pay for the funeral of a loved one without any assistance. And if you wanna have an affordable and reliable insurance check out some quotes at www.insurancepaylite.com right now I am getting quotes for my new car after dumping my old insurance company.

Gee Trent, you sound like an insurance salesman. What kind of Comet you have?

In GA, only liability insurance is required. Meaning if your at fault, they will pay for the damage to other vehical but you are SOL as far as your own car goes.

If you get caught driving without insurance, you can say bye-bye to your license.

 I think mavaholic hit it.

my wife is a nationally licensed agent, and i can tell you that most states now have some form of legally required amount of coverage. definately have to go with it at least. but if you can afford more, its always good to upgrade. you have to go by what your car is worth to you, what you own (houses and such), what kind of medical coverage you have through your work or parents work, and so on. i can tell you the most expensive part of any insurance is always the coverage of your vehicle for when your at fault. on a new vehicle you have to carry that in case you wreck it before you have paid for it and if the owner of your loan finds out your not carrying it they can usually repo your car on that grounds. but us lucky guys who own our car outright are not required to increase our insurance payments by 50-70 percent and carry that unless we feel like it and can afford it(y)
