I'm and LDO bucket seat fan as well. 6'2" and plenty of headroom. The reclining bucket seats makes for a nice feature for additional comfort adjustment as well. Even though the headrest on them is "separate" it can't be raised or lowered however.
Ok this somewhat is hard for me. I do want buckets and the comfort of the LDO seats are winning me over at the moment but I did a search on them and some people are saying that they sit really really low. Like I said, I'm 5'9 and with my current bench I sometimes do feel like my head comes very close to hitting the roof. However, seeing as I regularly drive a 2003 4 door Accord, I wonder if LDOs are close to the height of that cars buckets in which case it would be perfect.
You could always lift them with some spacers if you end up sitting too low. They're very comfortable seats for sure.
yup! i even made my own spacers cause i didn't have any I drive my car everyday (when it runs) and i love the seats! they're very very comfortable
Thanks for the advice guys. Hopefully it will be a simple bolt on scenario when I go for it this summer.
They are the same LDO seats that are in my 73 Comet. They do sit up, I am 5'7" and I duck my head getting in. They sit higher then the bench in my 76. They are very comfortable though.
