anyone on here have an Aje front end ? pics needed to sort mine out

i got my car it came with an aje front end but seems they slapt it in to sell it , im not 100 % on the cc plates for the underside of the towers.

the coilovers are attatched to spindle as one unit , on my old race car foxbody mustang i had all racecraft stuff up front and the drop spindles were tottally different attacthing point to the coilovers vs the Aje setup on this maverick .

any pictures would help or if anyone has the setup wants to share some advice

I can get a pic later tonight for you, but what exactly do you need to know. The cc plates are made of 3 separate parts. The part that has the 3 studs goes on the bottom, the part that has the bearing goes in the middle with the bearing side down, then of course the top plate gets sammwiched to the shock tower. Also there should be washers between the bushing and the top of the spring hat. Pretty sure there is a nylon washer on top of the spring hat followed by the slotted washer then another 2 flat spacers/washers before it goes into the cc plate. Hopefully this helps a little.

Hey Ray, Gary here, just getting set up to do an AJE on my car. What strut do you run and do you have any issues or problems?

Yo Gary, Happy New Year. I went with the KYB single adjustable strut for now... I'll give it a try. The other strut they offer would be a double adj. from Koni. Pretty sure it is a Toyota MR2 strut they use. So far I am very happy with the kit and their customer service. They extended the sleeve in the spindle for the strut, so I could get 2 more inches of front end travel, if needed. I also went with the adjustable lowers and 125lb springs.

Happy New Year to you also Ray. Thanks for the info, hope I can bend your ear through this process, never been there before. I'm making the bullet a little bigger (427) and gonna need more header so that's the reason for the AJE. What header are you gonna run?

I'm running a Hooker header for a 351 in a fox, but I had to move a couple tubes on the driver's side. The fox frame rails are wider. They have a 2" primary and a 3-1/2' collector.
