    is it possible that those marks are not rust but paint transfer

    Again, "THANKS" to everyone who gave me thier advice! I offered her $400 and she said no go. I did come back with a counter of $500, but that was my last and final offer. I told her if she would not accept the offer, to contack eBay and file a "Final Value Fee Credit" to cancel the contract and close out the account (so my credit rating at eBay doesn't suffer). I don't think she will take the final offer, so I'm pretty sure I'm walking away. Like I said before, every time I get close to a Maverick, I loose it. Keep your eyes open for me, I'm looking for either a '76 or '77, of course I would like it rust free at a fair price, and a black interior would be a bonus!

    Sounds like you got out in time. If this is how they want to do business, odds are there are other catches not mentioned.
