at witts end...

    my transmission guy told me..."when you get the bellhousing slid up, the converter should still slide on the bolts about 1/4". as i tighten the bellhousing bolts i check the converter and make sure it still moves. if not then the converter isn't seated all the way in... do not pull it on with the bolts...:naughty:

    Yep, there should always be some play in the converter with the transmission bolted to the engine. I showed Longviewgrabber how it should fit when he picked up the bellhousing today. It was a pleasure to meet another enthusiast and make a new contact and friend.
