Well, I made it to Ky. However, that great wax job I put on the car was left in Georgia. Between Lake City, Fl and Macon, Ga there was a monsoon that nearly washed me away several times. It took an extra hour to just go that distance. So, tomorrow is cleanup day again. Once I passed Atlanta all was clear. I even got off the interstate at Murfreesboro, Tn and took the 2 lanes the rest of the way. to Hodgenville. That's the way to drive an old car, 2 laneing. Total so far is 750 miles and 17 MPG, average, cheapest gas was in Tn for $3.479 for mid grade which is what I bought, cheap stuff was $3.359. Car has done great so far, knock on wood. I even got carded for buying a 6 pack of beer to take with me for later. Old gray headed me!! I haven't been carded for almost 40 years. The guy even looked at my ID to make sure it was me. Tn laws, gotta love them. Jim
I drove the Stallion in to work today so I can meet up with everyone at the cruise in. Boy I had some looks in rush hour traffic this morning! (Could be that I was driving 50 mph in the slow lane all the way into Louisville). See everyone who's going tonight! Jerry
