    It looks to me like all they did was relocate the driver side(HIS driver side) His passenger looks to be in the same spot as OUR driver side.
    Our did WE already figure that out and I am late as usual?

    The bright trim at the top of the door is not normally found on Grabbers
    is it guys?
    That is a very nice looking car. It looks like it has red interior, or a red
    package tray.
    So, were they all Mavericks imported Down Under or were Comets sent as well?

    Here's a photo of a RHD Maverick in Australia. Mavericks were not produced there, but some individuals and shops do conversions. What impresses me is the trouble they have to go to, and how good a job they appear to do when switching all the dash and dashpad around. Some of the hardware changes for the front suspension would be elementary, but the changes to the dash are much more incredible. I'd LOVE to have one converted to RHD!

    What I can't figure out is how the heck they drive them with the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car. :D

    I agree Chuck, I've seen several right hand cars including 3 Australian Falcons this past March and I am totally amazed at the work that has to be done to these cars. They look like they would have had to come off the assembly line like that but I know they didn't.:confused:

    My '74 Grabber has the trim on top of the door. It's original.

    With all of the Ford based RHD cars that were made over there, it seems the swap would be pretty easy using parts intended or salvaged from those cars. The interior would be pretty tricky though, considering the Maverick was never available over there when new, so RHD dash parts would be non-existant...
    At least all of those Aussies that have never seen a Mav can be impressed by the nice one that is represented there.
