well, I pretend its not, but it it was actually built to drag race only, but...
I am slowly trying to get it legal for some street car heads-up 6.50 classes around here.

Joe Golden: "The most hated white man in Texas" (akin to Don King)

As much as he is hated, he gets some of the fastest cars to show up from 3 or 4 states away. The crowds keep getting bigger and bigger too.

I'm waiting for him to get Jeff Naiser and Billy Gliden to that little track for a best of 2 out of 3 showdown.

I might be there at the next Clobberthon (June 25th). Would love to see you there, Ivey.

Whatever you do....PLEASE beat that guy! I don't mind someone being good at racing but when they broadcast it all over town it gets annoying. :evilsmile

Keep hitting 'em, Ivy. The Ford contingent is down a bit this year at HRP so go get them. Dad's T-Bird has been out this year in Quick 32 but we're revamping the whole car for next season. I may have found a decent '73 body in Dallas so there might be another Maverick out there next season. On another note....have you been to the new track (IHRA) out in Rusk? It's up in your neck of the woods so I thought you might have been there.

RUSK has a nice track and LUFKIN both tracks pay 500.00 in n/e on 17 cars first place. Lufkin has had a full field just about ever sat. Well as for Jay he did sandbag are he would have went out but next time. I like Jay and his dad Jack they are good racers Jack has a cool web-site brackettrash.com check it out Your t-bird what color is it. I have a 72 maverick stock body for 300.00 make a good race or street car can send pictures. Would like to see someone build a nice car out of it

Dad's Bird is black with a flame job on the nose. Check your PM's....I'm very interested in this Maverick you have. I have to go to the Kilgore area in a week or two so I could come by then.
