    Oil pan is a flat bottom, dont know the hp for sure have to wait until I get it on the track and do some calcs. I would guess around 375 at the crank, people always think they have more than they really do so I am probably the same way :)

    As far as running the evac system on the street they are said to be able to suck the cap to your hand at idle if placed correctly in the header or like I am going to do put it in the pipe after the header, definetly wont pass a smog test. Down side is if you suck oil in the exhaust you risk chance of fire especially if you run a catalytic convertor. But you can put a trap in to catch oil before it gets to the exhaust pipe.

    Back in the good ole days they just used a draft tube and this works on the same idea

    If it proves to be more of a p.i.a than its worth I will just go to a pcv set up

    Yes the big boys run vacuum pumps, I am not a big boy

    (fortunately, being semi retired from this hobby takes off some of the heat. ;))
