    Thanks ... appreciate it. Spent most of the day putting new bushings on the hurst shifter linkage and getting the Hooker Competition headers installed. Forgot what a pain headers are ... jack up the car, jack up the engine, twist, curse, push, don't scratch the paint, etc .... But they are in ... it's all gravy from here. Just have to monkey around and get the clutch linkage installed between the header pipes ....

    Here's a pic with the header pipes showing. I bolted to Purple Hornies on the end of them ... If I like the sound I'll probably keep them and then have pipes ran out the back ..

    This kinda confused me... My other Comet has a 200, alt is in the same location.
