    I grew up with my 74 4 door and the first car I purchased was a 74 2 door with a 302.

    I prefer the big bumpers. Small bumpers look fine, but my car has big bumpers.

    It is a nice place to set your ratchet.

    This is true. I've been parting out a big bumper car and the bumper makes a nice tool shelf. :rofl2:

    You can set most anything on a large front bumper, five quarts of oil and filter, tool box, small cooler.........

    Another Maverick tid-bit. You can open a long neck using the door striker as a bottle opener. :thumbs2:

    Wonder if big bumps would look okay trimmed off halfway horizontally and tucked in. Visualize it. Just an idea.
