I just e-mailed him about the availability of a '71-'77 Comet grill. I'm hoping they make one as it would look sharp on my Red GT! :yup:

Regarding the lights, I got the impression that I shouldn't hold my breath on that, but I came up with a few good ideas.

Mounting stock ones could be done with some cutting, but I could not bring myself to even consider cutting this thing.

Another idea I had... There are "strips" of LED amber lights available in plastic housings of varying lengths, just under 1/2" tall. I think about 3-4 of those in about a 4"-5" length, attached between the slats of the grille where the lights belong could look pretty good.

And then I thought, there is a whole other world of auto enthusiasts who like to accessorize their vehicles with a massive array of lights, chrome and assorted doodads. I'm not talking about ricers, I'm talking about truckers. There are a bunch of websites out there which sell a dizzying array of lighting for diesel rigs, and I found several things which would probably work great when I looked through those. But again I just can't make myself cut this grille...

I was toying with the idea of mounting lights behind the grill.

I have way too many toys right now. I need to get the grill done first, since it is the least invasive.

Not sure how long it will be before I get the nitrous kit installed and bottle filled.

I like the behind the grille option for the lights. I need to get a grille ordered, not near ready for it but it would give me more motivation!

I like that with the turn signal built in.

Damn, I let the cat out of the bag, but I couldn't resist.
I'm planning on using these on the 'Anti-Grabber"

I need to find a set that match without the turn signal to use in the headlight buckets. Then the inside ones behind the grill will act as fogs and turns.
