Maybe this had been discussed before. A few yrs ago I saw some internet posts about a '71/2 Comet GT in the Michigan area that had recently been removed from yrs of storage. I have seen a few pics of what appeared to be a solid original paint car. A friend of mine sent me a link today of what appears to be that car on a Copart website last Spring. I think Copart is a salvage company that deals with insurance claim dispositions. Maybe they deal with cars in other ways. It appeared to be complete minus the rear end and the interior. Motor was there minus the carb. The 'belted BF Goodrich T/A' on the Keystone wheel out front tells me this is the same car I have seen. I only see a small dent in the passenger fender...leading edge. Hood appears to be repainted, so maybe it wasn't original paint. Does anyone know the story? Anybody know where it went? Thanks.
