I just gave Jamie a set of Comet taillights. This '77 has Bobcat lights. The daddy in me likes the way Frank wired them up. He made the inside part of the lights function as brake lights. Turn signals operate only on the outside portion of the lights, but the brakes operate on all four portions. You can see brake lights on this car and since it's my daughter's, I like it.
Welcome to the club Dan Terry DID tell you about the "blood" initiation you need to complete now right????
Jamie...According to the Black Hooded Maverick(Comet) Society hand book, it in no way states that the car the black hood is on cannot be Black you are in! Dan...yer yella...or at least your hood will be!
Not so fast, Mike. As of last Friday, Jamie was driving his Maverick around without a hood. Plus, he's putting a Comet hood on there and we don't know its color, yet. I'm not sure Jamie is totally committed to the Society. How long do I have to get another black hood on one of my cars?
I`ll have to consult with the Manual and get back with you Terry! Not sure what the statute of limitations is on running an "off color" hood
Mike, another point of order. If Dan does not submit to the blood initiation, doesn't he forfiet the right to the black Grabber hood and have to give it back to the previous owner, as well as forfiet what he paid or traded for the hood?
And here I thought I was the only one with an all black hood. Honestly, I was never crazy about the factory paint on the hood. I went with "Rally(sp?) Matte Black" because I always liked the looks of the mopars with those painted black hoods.
