    Hey guys,
I'm looking to start setting up my maverick for road racing. I'm looking to swap a T5 into my currently automatic c4 car (floor shift). I came across this Bog Warner "World class" T5 with the bell housing, clutch and brake assembly and clutch cable. Is this pretty much everything is need besides a flywheel/flexplate? I know I can use my current driveshaft. And I'll have to modify or find a new trans crossmember. Also, does this seem like a good deal? $600 for everything Screenshot_20170805-154141.png

Try to locate some pedals that are FOR a Maverick or Comet .. You'll be glad you did ! Just my opinion.

Is it possible to use a cable with the original "linkage" type pedals?? I understand with enough fabrication anything is possible, but seems to me would be a lot changes necessary..

I would go hydraulic and forget the cable. You can use an external slave cylinder or a hydraulic throw out bearing. I recommend the former if for no other reason that it is easier to repair in case of leaks. Maverick/Comet pedals are easier to work with, but they are starting to get pretty pricey.
