boring a 302

    more than likely i'll end up using a c4 i have sitting around. already has a shift kit installed and a i believe a 2800 stall conv.i didn't know there would be a difference in what trans was used.i learned something new.:)

    what benifit would there be to a stroker kit with a standard bore? i'm learning guys so please bear with me.:)

    The stroker kit makes the stroke longer - increasing cubic inches fast. add one inch of stroke and you have a 400 instead of a 302 (not likely to be possible but that is the number) Most 302s are stroked slightly less than 1/2" to 347 (the full 1/2" would be a 352)
