I wanted to know if you just cut a hole in the existing tail panel or did you weld in portions of a 1969 camaro tail panel so you had the lip that was stock on the 1969 camaro. I also wanted to know how you attached the tail light lens and housing to the tail panel on the car? Did you graft in the existing mounting bracket that was on the 1969 camaro tail panel? I was just hoping I could pick your brain on how you made it work.
in fact, the initial idea was to use parts of a camaro rear panel.Inclusive got to buy the parts but the person who sold me, took forever to deliver the parts, then,to not delay the building ,I decided to cut the rear panel existing in Mav. Then I soldered some screws directly on the panel and is done! easy easy a piece of cake! later I shot a photo of studs for you
Really digging everything you're doing up till the grille. Course it doesn't matter what I think, it's your car.. I think the holes are just too big.
finally the body work is done!! Next week we will install the brakes and suspension,to adjusting and some welds..
