LOL...I'm crazy .. I know that .. but not so crazy as to let go of my black maverick! only after I die!:thumbs2:

I wanted to build and sell .. but 15 minutes after I buy the car, I changed my mind! she is in very good shape! of course I'm not going to spend that much in the orange, will be way simple, but I will leave it well cute;)

so..I will stay with the 2! I'm also finishing a challenger 73 440 pretty nervous :dancing:

so..here we go again!! wash primer off...

Finally!!! a power brake !! that was hard to find!! looks great also :bananaman:bananaman:bananaman:bananaman

THE BOOSTER SIZE IS 6" WIDE BY 9" LONG IT WILL CLEAR THE TALL VALVE COVERS. AND IT FEATURES A ADJUSTABLE ROD THIS WAY YOU CAN CHOOSE THE BRAKE PEDAL HEIGHT.

    you mean this?

I raised the floor of the trunk so the gas tank does not stand in front of the differential and suspension, when you look at behind the car. (y)

in other words, just to show the diff and sus

here is the gas tank in place

    That looks so awesome!

How come the roof isn't primed? Are you just painting in stages?

Keep up the good work! This thread is full of WIN!

I've read through your thread and didn't come across an answer to this. If I missed it, I apologize, but I was wondering what process you used to strip your body and metal panels to bare metal? Were chemical strippers part of the job? Thanks. An amazing build! John B

    Hey Man!!

Yes,To remove the paint in the beginning of the bodywork, we use chemical. we leave the body in bare metal.
then a coat of Washprimer to prevent rust.
Now, in the paintshop, 'to remove Washprimer, we just use sandpaper! no chemistry!

3 people sanding all day for almost a week! the entire body!!

then a coat of epoxy seal, then a coat of primer ... more sanding and finally painting!

then more sanding, paint, 6 coats of varnish with sanding in between.

    PPG everything! :thumbs2::thumbs2::thumbs2:
