thanks! ill consider them after i test some regular led type. i want more of a glow rather than multi pin point lights. however i dont want to be rear ended so this is a minor consideration on my part as to which style. i like the sequential setting as it draws attention to the fact youre turning more so than just a light getting brighter. cool post man!

EDIT: i just watched the video on their site. im very impressed. is there any way you can post a video in the dark and hit the brakes? thanks!

Thank You! I had the very same concerns. Too many distracted drivers banking on seeing a third brake light nowadays... The sequential mode definitely gets your attention. Ill see what I can do @ dark.

For a really neat taillight option for the Mavericks I can recommend EASY PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS in Wyoming , Michigan Jim & Donna .. They will hook you up with a neat setup .. East to install and you'll see
the difference immediately . Their phone number is 616-214-7880 .. I have them installed on TWO Mavericks
here and they're great . You can ' GOOGLE them and see a ' demo ' online !

The stock original tail lights were plenty bright 45 years ago, so it stands to reason that if restored to as-new condition, they should be plenty bright today.

What happens when you just step on the brakes, do the lights sequence one time and then all stay on ?

wow! thanks for taking the time to do that video. so far thats the best ive seen. my concern is, if i dont go as broght as possible, younger people who are used to ultra bright brake lights will be looking for that vs the dull version i have now. imo mine are plenty bright, but seeing my wife nearly hit me gave me a concern. i still dont think she was paying attention but its just made me want to error on the side of safety vs having a caved in trunk and tail section effectively totaling my car if i ever get rear ended. i like the sequential setting as well. didnt think i would but it really draws your attention to it. thanks again sir!

The digi-tails units will only work with 1970 lenses though... due to 71+ lenses having two extra notches, as pictured.
