Sounds like that old drag racing (I've got to go just a little faster) bug has bitten someone. RAY:drive:

Congrats on the 6's and keep up the sweet times.

Last but not least, the most important thing is to see the win light come on, on your side of the track!

LOL...I agree Terry. The win light would be great but I don't see that happening much with this 4 speed setup. I'm not try to fool myself into thinking that I can compete with the automatic guys and I'm just not ready right now to change it over. I don't plan on continuing at the track every weekend...at this time. If I do, I will certainly take up PaulS on his offer of building me a superduper C4 for the track. (y)
    Anyway...thanks! :)

Hey Ray, I am putting your C4 in my car! 6 clutches in the forward drum and 5 clutches in the direct drum. Stage 3, 500+ HP behind my stock 302. I do have a core saved for you.... It is a pan fill core but you need to find a bell housing for it. I suppose we could always just bolt a bell housing to the pump but it is worth finding a bell for. You won't need the large bell - either pan fill bell will work as long as you use the right flex plate and converter.

If you want a case fill tranny, I have a spare case/tranny here. Let me know.

I prefer these over pan fills, but to each their own

Thanks Paul. I do have cores for each type, pan and case fill...plus I have the C6 core I told you about a while back with the small block pattern. Plenty of options...what to do. :hmmm:

Your numbers look pretty much in line,Rays mph seems a little low for the ET.Maybe he's got a lower gear and/or the car works a little better than yours(or maybe he got out of it if he was bracket racing):huh:At your mph if you could shave some off the 60' you should be in the 7.50-7.60 range.Anyhoo, you're both fast and....congrats to Ray,a 6 sec street car is pretty cool.:thumbs2:
