Ha Ha...look at how high the pic is taking. The cam was at the top of roof. That was the only way to take it. You can see find when your sitting down & even better with the gas pedal to the floor & your head behind the head rest. Plus I'm short like that.

looks good.i would'nt mind doing something like that someday. like scott said what about recesing the tops in so they are straight up and down.

this morning i started putting the brushed look across the middle of the dash.

You realize you've committed the mmb.maverick.to Cardinal sin - posting that you've done something cool then not including even one picture? For shame. :(

    ;)

edit: Ha! Scott had already demanded pics from you while I was typing out my post.

I'm been working on one that will reces the gauges with 6 blue LED lights at the top shining downward accross the gauges. The gauges light up blue too. But the dash has to be out the car & the 1st try, I didn't want to take the dash out. plus the plastic defrost vent behind the gauges is in the way. I have the layout but until I pull the dash out, it want go in. It connects to the back of the dash. also the gauges are electric, so there are alot of wires running to a disttribution block behind that panel. Turn signals & high beam included. Got the behind the dash box idea from this.

Yea I guess I should have waited until the other dash setup was in the car before I posted a pic too. Me working metal takes alot of trial & error processes before I get it right, then I come up with a better way of doing it & have to start all over again.
